Frequently asked questions.

I am getting married next year, how do I best contact you?

The best way to reach out to us regarding your special event is through our contact form submission. Fill out your name(s), event date, projected budget, your venue and your inspiration ideas so far!

If we are fully booked, we will still respond to you and suggest a local florist. If you haven’t seen our response in 2 business days, check your junk mail! After this emailing process, we will book a consultation to get to know you further, and produce a beautiful custom designed quote.

What are your store hours?

Our store hours are Monday-Friday (9-6pm), Saturday (9-5pm) and Sunday (11-4pm). Our availability will fluctuate around Stat Holidays, which we are closed for. We will also close extra days around Stat holidays. We will always post a banner on our Home Page, or Order Flowers Page, also we keep our Google Business Listing up to date!

What is your delivery radius for daily flower deliveries (not weddings)?

We deliver London-wide for an easy, flat delivery rate. We do deliver to some surrounding communities for a rural delivery price, such as Ilderton, Thorndale, Komoka, etc. Our limit for rural deliveries is 20 KM one way, if you require a delivery that is farther away, call us directly. We may still be able to deliver, but a separate delivery rate will apply.

How far in advance should I place an order for a specific event?

As early as you feel comfortable. This will allow us to order in your specific product, discuss best pricing with you, and ensure we are not sold out for special ordering for your event date.

I see you have certain images on your Order Online section, can I customize this?

Absolutely! Give us a call (519)-660-6815 to discuss your ideas, we customize orders daily. We will give you best suggestions for seasonality, quality and our design expertise.

How do you ensure the quality of your flowers?

At Springhill, we pride ourselves in outstanding flowers and dedication to your floral experience. Being in the industry since 1986 has given us the expertise to employ the best practices and procedures.

All florals are rotated on a weekly basis, our coolers are nothing short of exceptional. We use proper hydration, holding and cooling methods.

I received a bouquet, a vase or a plant from you, what do I do next?

For a bouquet, prepare a clean and sterilized vase that will hold an adequate amount of water for your size of bouquet. Then remove the water tubes on the bottom of the stems, if they are present. Add the sachet of floral food to the correct dosing, then cut the stems on a sharp angle with garden pruners or a sharp knife, again ensuring cleanliness of the blade. Change water every other day, or when water appears cloudy. Enjoy!

For a vase, it will arrive in great condition. Keep it away from bright direct light, keep away from heat sources (this applies to your bouquets as well). Flowers enjoy temperate and cooler climates.

Your water may become foggy, you can tip design over a sink, to empty water. Then, refill with clean water.

If you received a foam arrangement, add water daily, and enjoy!

For plants, do not over water, feel soil with a bare finger to assess dampness. If soil feels moist, and cool, do not add more water. If soil is dry and flakey to the touch, water is most likely required.

Please, do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions about the care of your bouquet, vase or plant!!
